This position combines multiple functional attributes such as Sales, Business Development and Business Analyst. Works on a team responsible for all matters related to pricing, contracting and support of the field organization related to the development and implementation of customer contracts and pricing. Must possess a good understand of GPO/IDN contracting alignments and can work with multiple functional areas/individuals to develop and implement contracts that are of benefit to the company, while meeting the requirements of our growing customer base. This individual is responsible for developing and managing relationships that drive sales growth with key GPO and IDN personnel.
This position oversees or has direct responsibility for a wide range of activities related to: pricing, contract acquisition and fulfillment activities in accordance with business policies, supporting field activities around contract and pricing initiatives, providing analytical support to pricing/consignment functions, develops forward-looking strategies for contracting at all levels and develops models/strategies for product and portfolio discounting decisions. These activities are performed through detailed analyses of historical sales and pricing trends; as well as, bid proposal review/preparation,contractnegotiationsummaries,contractadministrationsupport, customer contract activities and having general market knowledge and an overall business
Bachelor’s Degree (minimum requirement) preferably in healthcare administration or Business related field.
Minimum of 3 years medical device and/or healthcare industry contracting and/or National Accounts experience preferred
