Responsible of assisting the Compliance Director in developing, implementing and monitoring bank compliance programs to ensure compliance with internal policies as well as federal and state banking laws and regulations.
Conduct regulatory compliance monitoring reviews of various business units as scheduled under the compliance monitoring review plan.
Compose written reports summarizing compliance findings, conclusions and recommendations.
Communicate as required with appropriate bank management concerning compliance review findings.
Assist in implementation of new and revised regulations.
Conduct HMDA/CRA data collection and ensures proper and timely HMDA/CRA reporting as required by regulation.
Conduct fair lending analysis and risk assessment and prepare report for management.
Coordinate employee’s compliance trainings related to Federal bank regulations
Establish an annual training program for all employees.
Responsible of performing monthly monitoring reviews of deposit accounts that exceed the transactions limit permitted by Regulation D.
Assist in the monthly review of the HMDA LAR for accuracy. Conducts post-closing Residential Loans review on a regular basis.
Analyze data and disclosures for accuracy, fair lending, TILA, RESPA, ECOA.
Prepares reports detailing findings and recommendations for department personnel and management.
Good knowledge of Fair Lending Rules and TRID.
Assist with internal and external audits
Assist in the review of the CRA Performance Evaluation and the CRA Public File.
Collect and analyze the Bank’s CRA documents, community development loans and Community Services.
Assist in developing and managing compliance department related projects, oversees corrective action taken by management.
Assist in the Consumer regulations review at branch level. Assist in the monthly and quarterly review of Flood insurance policies, deposit accounts and escrow accounts.
Responsible of data gathering and data entry for CRA reporting on a national basis.
Work directly with the compliance regional officer.
In Charge of HMDA National reporting for all bank regions. Responsible of receiving and reviewing CRA data from all regions to assure comply with federal regulations.
Keeping track of consumer and commercial loanapplications to analyze and verify compliance accuracy and generate errors report in orderto communicate with management toensure the errors are corrected and to implement better data processing.
In charge of submitting CRA and HMDA reports to the FDIC at the end of the year.
Assist in the revision of Popular Community policies and procedures.
Monitor accounts for OFAC and AML on new accounts.
Provide support withRESPA, SAFE Act, Regulation Z monitoring. In charge of Investigating and respond customer complaints. Provide support with branch audits.
+5 year recent CRA / HMDA banking experience

Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and Core Banking platforms
Ability to research and apply banking regulations to vary processes and applications and put the information in written form for areas of the bank affected
