The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Estate Planning/Business Law and Probate. The practice is mostly transactional, but on occasion a case is taken to trial. The candidate must understand estate planning and be sensitive to clients’ needs. The Business Law aspect of the firm involves setting up corporations, drafting sales and purchase agreements, non-compete agreements, etc. The candidate should understand the stages of Probate and court timelines, and needs to be patient and personable. Regular Hours are 9-5. However, a full-commitment to the firm is expected. Must be flexible in staying after five to complete time sensitive tasks.

Manage Office Correspondence
General Office Duties (Answer Phones/Organization/Order Supplies)
Dictation (digital dictaphone)
Draft Estate Planning documents, wills, trusts, etc.
Maintain calendar and schedule appointments
Prepare and file Probate documents; communicate with Clerks
Input daily time records and produce monthly invoices
Create, maintain, and organize new and closed files
Work independently and establish priorities
Able to research statutes and find answers re: practice and procedure
